How To Use

[How to Use] Use after preparing your skin with a makeup base. Take an appropriate amount onto a dry sponge or a damp, wrung-out sponge and spread evenly over your skin. If using a wet sponge, thoroughly drain it before storing it in the case. [How to Place in a Case (Sold Separately)] Place the product in an Esprique Eclat powder foundation case. Press the edge of the inner tray to remove it from the clear container. Lift the clear sheet, then insert the inner tray diagonally into the left side of the case and press down on the edge of the inner tray until you hear a click. [How to Remove the Inner Plate] Place the pad of your finger on the edge of the inner tray from the recess in the case and push it up to the left to remove it.

I was using Esprique Eclat, but as I'm getting older I decided to switch to Eclat and bought this. Both are excellent at staying in pores, but the slightly reddish color of Eclat is a perfect fit. It's not powdery and has good coverage, so I'd be sad if it were discontinued.

I'm using the BB liquid from the same series, and I also bought this. I've always avoided powders because I thought they'd make my skin dry, but this has really evolved. It suits my skin. It keeps the right amount of brightness and doesn't make my skin look like a clay figurine. I also use it as a touch-up for the Eclat BB liquid, lightly patting it on. I sometimes use it as a primer with the same Eclat to finish. The included puff is also soft and easy to use. If you apply too much, it can dry out your skin, so it takes some time to get used to the right amount.

It feels a little thick, but it does have some coverage.

I bought this as a gift for my mother, who normally uses a primer and powder. She wanted a foundation with good coverage, so I chose this one, which had good reviews. My mother's requirements: High coverage → (It covers up some of the makeup without concealer, but not heavy foundations), easy to carry → , and a smooth texture → (it doesn't get sticky with sebum even after a while). It does give the impression of having foundation on, but because it's matte, it makes your skin look beautiful after application. The case was sold separately, so I bought them together. It seemed to be a good product, so I was planning to continue using it, but unfortunately, it will be discontinued once it runs out. I'll also buy one refill.

I have sensitive skin that ranges from oily to combination. I have a yellow undertone, so the foundation has a reddish undertone, which prevents my skin from looking yellow and dull, without leaving a white cast. However, the high moisturizing properties can be a problem for my oily skin in the hot seasons, and I'm concerned about it breaking down. I can still use it in cooler seasons, though. It seems like it would be good for normal to dry skin.
