Neal’s Yard Remedies Rose Facial Wash, 100ml

I used to use a frankincense facial wash, but between frankincense water and rose water, I found that rose water suited my skin better, so I switched to rose water for my face wash and it was a perfect match! I'm often told that my skin is "thin," so I scrub too hard, and strong cleansers often leave my skin red and my pores dry and open. However, this rose face wash moisturizes while also providing the cleansing power that frankincense lacked, making it just what I was looking for. I wet my face and gently rub the gel in circular motions. Once it's absorbed, I add lukewarm water little by little and rub it in circular motions to create a soft lather, which I then rinse off. This process of gradually adding lukewarm water and lathering may be the secret to leaving my skin feeling moisturized. So far, this is an excellent product that I'll definitely repurchase.

I bought this because I wanted to try the scent of damask rose, the rose of roses. I really like the refreshing scent. It's not a foaming type, so it might not be to everyone's taste. It's not cheap, so I'd like to buy it again for a special occasion.

The scent is not a gorgeous rose, but rather a more bluish scent that comes to the forefront. It's a typical Neal's Yard scent. It's in gel form, so it's easy to use and has less friction. I like to lather it up before using it. It takes about four pumps to lather up, so if you use it this way, it's not cost-effective and I won't be repurchasing it again. After washing, it leaves your skin feeling refreshed while still moisturized. There's no sticky feeling and it's comfortable. It seems good for spring to autumn. I'm almost finished with it, so next I'll try Minon's Moist Creamy Wash. It's more refreshing than I expected. It also has a fairly strong cleansing power. It has a strong, grassy scent, like real plants, so I think people's tastes may differ. I personally didn't like the scent.

Before this, I was using the Orange Flower serum exclusively in the mornings. Since I'd been using the Rose Water & Beauty Serum for my nighttime skincare routine in early spring, I decided to give this one a try. While the Orange Flower serum was a milky formula, this one is a gel. Adding just a little water creates a soft, fluffy lather. While I thought this would be refreshing, it surprisingly left my skin feeling moisturized after washing. Comparing the Frankincense, Orange Flower, and this one, this one feels the most moisturizing. (This is my personal opinion.) I think it's quite good for dry skin. However, the scent isn't great! It's rose, but...it seems like there's a hint of the raw ingredients mixed in??? I much prefer the feel and scent of the Orange Flower serum, so I won't be repurchasing this one.
