I bought a single-use supply and tried it out. The shampoo lathered very well, and I was able to use it about three times on my hair (about 3cm below the shoulders, thick and thick, and has had it thinned out). I've been using it at my parents' house since it was released, so I use it every time I stay over. It's surprisingly different from the old essential. The old one was rough and made my hair frizzy, so I couldn't use it. This revamped version lathers well, doesn't feel rough after rinsing, and while it doesn't make my hair super manageable, it does leave it fluffy. The finish isn't too heavy, which is great for thin hair (^^) I've also used the yellow one, and compared to the blue, I think the blue one does make it a little more manageable, but I didn't think there was a noticeable difference, so it might be best to decide based on the scent.
