It's gel-like when applied, but it quickly turns into fine bubbles when spread. It can be rinsed off immediately, or used as a foam pack for 1-2 minutes. I happened to be blowing my nose a lot, so even though I don't have sensitive skin, my nose felt a bit stinging. The smooth feeling after washing was nice, so unless you have sensitive skin or are particularly sensitive to roughness, I recommend rinsing it off as soon as bubbles appear. I personally didn't like the Clarity Floral scent. If you're interested, I recommend giving it a try!
