It was affordable and didn't put any strain on my skin.

I bought this while shopping in the neighborhood on a holiday. I liked the concept that it's gentle on the skin and better for it than bare skin, but... the finish was such that I thought bare skin might look better. On my skin in my late 40s, it made my pores more prominent and left a slightly powdery, old-looking finish. I had high hopes for it, so I was a little disappointed. I used it after my skincare routine and Orbis sunscreen. I wonder if I can find a way to use it more effectively... Shiseido's skincare powder leaves my skin a little whiter, but it's gentler on the skin, blurs pores, and prevents shine, so I think it's easier to use.

I've used up Ihada, And B, Kansan, and Snow Beauty powders that perform a similar function, and was looking for something to use next, when this caught my eye and I decided to buy it. Even on days when I don't wear makeup, I always use sunscreen and powder. To prevent rough skin, I like products that can be removed with face wash and are gentle on the skin. After my morning skincare routine, I use this alone when I take out the trash, and so far, my skin hasn't dried out or become oily, which is great. Until a few years ago, I could just relax on my days off with skincare, but as I get older, if I don't keep it up, I really look shabby. It feels like it protects my skin without putting a strain on it, so even though it will probably run out before summer, I'll keep using it.

I bought this thinking it would be something I could use every day, since I don't want to wear as much makeup as I do at work, but I can't go barefaced. After applying sunscreen and a skin-toning primer, it erased my pores, smoothed my skin, and left me with a soft, beautiful complexion! It's much lighter than foundation. With proper makeup, it tends to smudge, but since it's not proper, it doesn't smudge. It was such a great product that I felt like I'd found something great. It also made me think that maybe powder foundation, which I don't use often, would be good too.

I've always loved Orbis' loose powder, but I found it inconvenient because it wasn't portable and didn't contain SPF. I bought the new skin powder hoping it would be as gentle as the old Le Cherche. It exceeded my expectations! It doesn't provide a ton of coverage, but it does provide a subtle coverage that leaves your skin looking beautiful. It feels light on the skin, like an extension of your skincare routine, and doesn't feel oppressive. I really like this powder because it protects my skin even during this time of year when pollen and temperature changes can easily irritate it.
