I think the name "eye gloss" is perfect. If you don't have time to apply eyeshadow, you can use this alone.

I usually use CANMAKE eye makeup primer in a tube, so I'll compare them for reference. CANMAKE: ○ Texture: It's firm, so foundation can smudge when applying it to the eyelids. ○ Makeup staying power: Very good. It really enhances the color payoff of eyeshadow, and even large glitter particles stay in place, but if you're not careful, the eyeshadow can easily become uneven. ○ Cost-effectiveness: Very good. The amount you use is about the size of a grain of rice, so you'll never finish it. ○ Tube: The contents are firm, so it's a little hard to get out. However, if you use too much, you'll end up squeezing too much and can't get it back. ○ Color: It's transparent, so it doesn't interfere with the eyeshadow you apply on top. Mary Quant: ○ Texture: It's very soft and spreads well, but because it's soft, you'll end up squeezing too much if you try to apply it with the same consistency as CANMAKE, so be careful. Also, perhaps because it's not as oily as CANMAKE, the eyeshadow doesn't cake. ○ Makeup staying power: Good. It doesn't seem to improve the color payoff of eyeshadow as much as CANMAKE, but it applies naturally, beautifully, and evenly. It lasts long enough that you don't need to touch up your makeup. ○ Cost performance: Good. A small amount goes a long way, so cost performance is good. However, compared to CANMAKE, it does feel a bit pricey. ○ Tube: The tip is slanted, making it easy to use. Be careful not to squeeze out too much. ○ Color: It has a foundation-like color. However, since it's similar to foundation, it doesn't interfere with the eyeshadow you put on top. That's how I personally feel about it. I think Marikuwa is a better fit for me, as it was very easy to use, so I'll be buying Marikuwa again from now on.

Rather than using it as a base, I use it to brighten up dullness on my eyelids when I'm not wearing foundation.

It's an unsung hero that enhances the color and staying power of your eyeshadow. It takes a little extra effort, but using it makes a huge difference in the finish of your eye makeup. It's a light beige with a hint of pearl, so just blending it thinly will instantly brighten and set your eyes. If you apply too much, it will crease and look dirty, so I think the key is to apply it thinly. You only need a small amount per application, so it should last quite a long time. It seems like good value for money. Mary Quant is a reliable brand with lots of great items.

I had this used when I had my eyeshadow touched up. The ones I've used up until now have had a hard texture or don't spread well... but this is a liquid foundation. Even a little goes a long way, so it's great value for money. The glitter in my glitter eyeshadow doesn't fly away. My eyeshadow, which was starting to fade by the evening, still hasn't faded! It adheres really well! It also contains pearls, so it gives a nice shine. If you don't want to bother with the process, just use this. I highly recommend it!!
