After my dermatologist prescribed a heparinoid lotion and my skin stabilized, I remembered using Alrouge lotion when I was hospitalized about seven years ago, so I bought the full line. I didn't like the pseudo-ceramide lotion and it caused itching. Alrouge uses natural ceramides. These are my impressions after using it for nearly a month. The manufacturer recommends using an amount about the size of a 1-yen coin, but that wasn't enough for me, so I used a little more morning and night. At first, I didn't feel much moisture, and I was skeptical about whether it was really a night pack. After using it for about 10 days, my skin texture improved and became firmer. My inner dryness, which used to dry out quickly no matter what I applied, was cured. I didn't use it alone, so I can't say if it was the only effect, but Alrouge was a great fit for my skin. Also, I used to break out immediately after applying cream, but this didn't.

Moisturizing: It's not sticky, but it's not drying either. It's moderately moisturizing. I tend to get breakouts and unwanted blackheads when I use a lot of oil, but this doesn't cause any problems. It's more of a hydrating product than a cream, and I think it's perfect for my inner dry skin. Spreadability and cost-effectiveness: I use it every 1.5 months during the dry season, and about 2 months in spring and fall. I've been using it sparingly for about 2.5 months. It contains ceramides, has a nice scent, and I think it's compatible with my skin, so I think it's good value overall. ◎ Overall: I've been using it on and off for a long time. I'm glad it's sold on Suzykirei. It seems to be renewed every few years, but I haven't noticed any changes, for better or worse. With the rising prices of cosmetics due to inflation these days, this cream is a blessing.

I like the feel of it. For me, two coats is just right.
