I love Make Up For Ever! I have sensitive skin due to atopic dermatitis, but I can use almost all of Make Up For Ever's products, so I trust them! Due to my face type and dullness, the eyeshadow colors that suit me are quite limited, but I had my eye on this eyeshadow and found a color that was perfect, so I bought it when it was time to replace my makeup. The color payoff is amazing, and it really accentuates my eyes! No matter what I use, powder accumulates around my double eyelid, so I was thinking of giving up on eyeshadow, so this eyeshadow has become one I can't live without! I also use purple eyebrow products, so I'm exploring whether I can use it as an eyebrow product! I think I'll keep buying it as long as it's available!

540 Sweet Taupe: I bought this after seeing it recommended as a nose shadow by a Korean makeup artist! It has a moist texture and blends well with the skin. It's a fairly warm color for a nose shadow, but it's the perfect shadow color for warm-toned skin tones in spring. 640 Hot Toffee: I bought this as a stylish brown accent color with a hint of red. It's very pigmented, so be careful not to apply too much!

The lighter shades in my eyeshadow palettes tend to disappear. But the darker shades are still going strong. I've been adding more single-color eyeshadows lately. I already have a whitish single-color eyeshadow elsewhere, so I was looking for something a little more beige and matte. I thought the M540 might be a little dark, but when I actually applied it to my eyelids, it was a perfect neutral beige.

This single eyeshadow has a moist powder texture and provides strong color. Therefore, I use it carefully, avoiding applying too much all over. I use #530 as a matte highlighter. Applying a little to areas I want to plump up—like my nasolabial folds, the sides of my lips, and dark circles under my eyes—naturally conceals those areas. I bought a second one so I could use it for touch-ups. It's small and portable, making it convenient to carry around. I saw a Korean makeup artist on YouTube using #540 as a nose shadow, and I've followed suit. I think applying a very small amount with a brush and gently dabbing it on my nose naturally makes my nose look smaller. Be especially careful not to apply too much. I use #800 as an eyeshadow base. My personal color teacher taught me how to apply it lightly all over my eyelids, eliminating dullness and allowing the next eyeshadow to shine. This is recommended for those who, like me, experience winter-spring transitions.
