I was so blown away by the beautiful colors in the tester that I purchased both, and I'm already on my second bottle of 584. I highly recommend these lipsticks to anyone with a cool winter undertone or who isn't quite on board with the current trend toward dull and muted skin tones. Both shades are vibrant and bold, reminiscent of foreign department store cosmetics. As a cool winter undertone with an elegant face type and a penchant for high contrast, both shades were a huge hit for me. I love the red in 584, which is vibrant but not overly fluorescent, and brightens my skin in any condition. I use 283 when I want a more subdued look. It has a purple undertone that doesn't wash away, creating a stylish color with an exquisite balance. The color lasts incredibly long, and even a drink won't budge it! However, it does dry out a little. Applying it thickly, leaving it on for a while, then dabbing it on with a tissue prevents it from smudging and makes it easy to adjust the color. If you apply a moisturizing gloss on top, the color and shine will be restored, so it's not only great value for money but also great to wear! By the way, because it has good color payoff and staying power, if it goes over the edge it's difficult to correct...! This was the perfect cosmetic for me, who couldn't get on board with the recent trend of muted cosmetics. I love the color and performance so much that when I'm unsure what to use, I just apply this. I bought the brown 748. My honest impression was, "Wow, it's so cute!" My lipstick tends to turn out redder than it looks, but this one is just the right color—not too red, not too dark. I do think the color doesn't last very long, so I recommend wiping it off with a tissue. It's perfect for the colder days when you crave deeper colors.
