I use a bunch of sample pouches and mini bottles that I got as freebies or magazine supplements. For some reason, the Botanist shampoo and conditioner have different scents, but they're both quite mild so I don't mind. The shampoo doesn't feel moisturizing enough, but the cleansing power is average. After shampooing, my hair is a little hard to run my fingers through, so I need to add moisture with the conditioner. After drying, my hair feels smooth and fluffy, and my roots stand up a little. However, I felt like it wasn't moisturizing enough on its own, so I didn't buy the full product. I'd give it about 3.5 stars.

I think Botanist is a great, high-quality shampoo that can be purchased at the original drugstore. All of the products have a nice scent, but I like that they're not harsh like the current trendy ones. It leaves hair feeling light and fluffy without being dry, giving it an exquisite finish. It lathers well and has no peculiarities, making it easy to use.

I tried it because I wanted my hair to have more bounce and volume. But it feels heavy overall. It's smooth and easy to run your fingers through, and it gives your hair some body and volume, but it just doesn't feel right. It seems like it's annoying when you're using a hair dryer, but your hair feels heavy for a long time. It doesn't dry smoothly. I don't really like this aspect, so I don't think I'll be buying it again.

I like the scent. The non-silicone shampoo is not so much moisturizing as it is removing excess oil, and it was just what I imagined. I think using it occasionally in combination with regular shampoo is a good fit for me.
