Paul & Joe Beaute 凝胶粉底海绵

This is a refreshing foundation for dry skin! I actually bought it about 5 or 6 years ago (when it still had that big, chunky, seashell-like packaging), but it didn't suit my skin at all. Looking back, I realized I hadn't found the right skincare products at the time, and I had a triple whammy of pores, acne, and dry skin. No matter what foundation I used, it never really stuck. I managed to use it all up at the time, but...lol. My skin has finally started to improve, and I've started moisturizing morning and night. This foundation has finally started to blend in smoothly. In fact, I need this foundation to feel dry. Liquid and cream foundations are heavy and sticky, while powder foundations are powdery and make pores more noticeable and sticky over time. Anyway, the balance of this gel foundation is just right for my dry skin. It doesn't offer much coverage! It just makes my skin look natural. It doesn't seem to cover blemishes on its own. It does remove dullness. It moisturizes and brightens the under-eye area without leaving a sticky feeling, which is the best thing about it. I think oily areas tend to get shiny easily, but I have combination skin and my face tends to get oily, but the powder keeps my forehead and nose in check. In the end, I realize how important moisturizing is, and I'm constantly reminded of this obvious fact! lol

This is a sample. It looks great whether paired with the same Porjo moisture primer or without a base after a sunscreen from another company. I used it during the dry winter months. It leaves skin hydrated and radiantly bright. While it doesn't offer much coverage for dark spots or dark circles, it brightens and reduces the appearance of pores and imperfections, leaving a beautiful finish. However, the texture is a bit unique, and the foundation crumbles when applied to a sponge, making it difficult to remove. It also crumbles when blending into the skin, taking a while to blend. If it hadn't crumbled when applying this makeup, I'd give it 4 stars! I wore a mask in a heated environment, and was slightly sweaty, and after five hours my entire body was shiny... I think it might be a bit harsh in the summer.

It has great pore coverage. It doesn't feel dry and is comfortable all day long. Because it's a cream, it's a little moisturizing. I like to apply powder to keep it smooth.

I used a sample. 102 SPF25 PA++ 1g. Does the included puff stick to the product? I had some issues with the thin puff. The finish is semi-glossy. The coverage is moderate, and the finish is a little similar to Sublime. As a gel foundation, it feels moisturizing. The gel is hard and doesn't stick to the puff easily, making it great for touch-ups, but it took a while to achieve a nice finish. The color was just right and didn't cast a white cast. It crumbled very nicely, with little pore wear or peeling. It crumbled a little under my nose when I used a mask, but it seems to be resistant to friction. It didn't crumble much. Overall, I thought it was a very good foundation.

This looks like a Paul & Joe foundation sponge, but I use MAC's Studio Perfect Foundation Compact, so I use it as a thin round sponge to match it. It applies powder well, making it easy to cover. There aren't many perfectly round sponges out there, so I'm thinking about buying one regularly.
