I bought this mascara after reading reviews of the old one on Suzykirei, but based on my results, I'd say it was a bit pricey... Clumping, ease of application. I've used several bottles of the old Dior Show mascara, and compared to that, I felt the liquid was a bit thicker from the first day I bought it. Gloss: It's black, but it doesn't have a glossy finish, more like frosted glass. Ease of smearing: It's winter, so I'm not sure how it will perform in midsummer. It seems like it would hold up in the heat of a crowded train in the fall and winter. Lash length and volume: When I first used the old Dior Show, I felt like my lashes had subtly lengthened, but this one didn't have that same impact...◎ Overall, I feel like recent Dior mascaras aren't as highly rated as the old ones. I tried applying Clinique and Dior on my right and left eyes, and Clinique was easier to apply, but there wasn't much difference in lash length. (I've done something similar with the old Diorshow, but it felt like Diorshow lengthened my lashes and was quite different.) It would have been the best if the old Diorshow had been waterproof, so I might stay away from Dior mascara for a while.

It gives a lot of volume! But it clumps easily. Also, I have oily skin, so the area under my eyes looks like a panda, so a coat of mascara is a must! But it makes my eyelashes look fluffier and really makes my eyes look more powerful! I don't recommend it for people who like natural makeup or are looking for the trendy, fleeting look.
