I felt that the ingredients, such as keratin and collagen, which straighten curly hair were more effective than those from other manufacturers. I used it the day before it rained. I still had some very fine, curly hairs in my bangs, but a blow-dry did manage to settle them down. The bumps on the surface where split ends used to bounce around are barely noticeable.
