Affordable and additive-free, perfect! I wish the treatment had a little more moisturizing power!

I use this shampoo by itself. It's used as a pre-treatment for an expensive conditioner, so it's inexpensive, has a mild scent, and has great cleansing power. I was surprised at how fine and soft the foam is, and the squeaky feeling wasn't too noticeable. In fact, it felt like a booster for the conditioner. I recommend it for people like me who like to use it sparingly!

I've used a variety of products over the past 10 years, including additive-free, natural, soap-based, and amino acid-based products, but only a handful have I repurchased more than twice. This is one of them. While it's considered one of the safer options on the market, natural products are often too expensive or leave poor results...it's always stressful, so I've finally settled on this product. It doesn't cause any problems on the backs of my elbows or neck, where ingredients can be incompatible or leave a lot of residue, and it rinses off easily with little residue, making it easy to manage even when I'm tired. And the affordable price is what kept me coming back. The shampoo is refreshing, leaving my hair feeling a little rough after washing. The conditioner adds volume and moisture to my hair, making it incredibly manageable. It has a natural orange scent that doesn't linger after rinsing, but it doesn't leave a lingering scalp odor like some natural products, and it doesn't leave a lingering smell on my hair, giving it a sense of proper care. I was so picky about everything that I ended up using different products for my family, but it looks like I can finally use just this one product. I've been able to keep my black hair fluffy, light, and shiny.
