How To Use

Use the spatula provided to take an appropriate amount into dry hands. Apply to dry face and gently massage all over to dissolve makeup. Other cleansers left my skin feeling irritated, so I switched to this one, which is said to be for sensitive skin. It's gentle on the skin and doesn't feel like it's rubbing against it. The irritation went away, so I thought it was gentle on the skin. However, after using it for a week, my nose pores started to get clogged. It was gentle, but I felt like it didn't remove all the dirt. I liked the essential oil-like scent and texture.

BANILA CO's cleansing balm is the most effective on pores, so I bought a milder version for winter. This one is slightly acidic. It has a refreshing, subtle mint-like scent. I thought the makeup removal was not much different from the standard pink version. (This may also be due to the fact that base makeup tends to be lighter in winter.) The feel isn't mild, but it has the cleansing power to remove makeup thoroughly. I've been repurchasing the standard version until now, but I think I might switch to this one from now on.

It comes in a jar that you scoop with a spatula, but it also comes with a convenient inner lid to store the spatula. I preferred this one to the pink one. It's hypoallergenic, removes makeup just as it is, is frictionless, has a gentle scent, doesn't leave my skin tight after washing, leaves it moisturized, and is the best value for money. I keep buying it!
