You can use it on its own, but I like to apply a crayon lipstick first and then apply it on top to blend it in. It does feel a little sticky, but if you lightly wipe it off with a tissue, it's not a problem.

The color is a red that can be worn even by people in their 40s. I feel like deep reds make me look even older, so... I guess the sticky feeling that organic lipsticks have is unavoidable.... I have a feeling I won't be using it much.
