I use it in a circular motion, being careful not to apply too much, on areas where I'm concerned about dryness, such as under the eyes. I keep it on hand and apply it whenever I feel like it, whether I'm wearing makeup or not.

I have dry skin and this is great for hay fever. My nose and cheeks get so rough from constantly blowing my nose that they break down, but moisturizing with this stick helps to keep that from happening. It's easy to apply with a dabbing motion, and it doesn't strain my skin, which is great. Even my skin gets so rough that even the rice skin lotion stings, so this doesn't sting, so I'll be buying it again.

I bought it hoping to use it when I need to touch up my makeup during the day, but the balm is harder than I thought it would be and doesn't spread easily. It makes my makeup smudge, and rather than moisturizing, it just makes the area where I applied it shiny. The reviews are good, so maybe I'm just not using it properly, but I still have a lot left, so I'm going to try using it as skin care before my morning makeup routine.
